\nAre you\u00a0planning to use the national e-infrastructure services soon?\u00a0Have you been using these services already, but would like to make sure you are getting the most out of them?\u00a0Then this NRIS HPC On-boarding course is intended for you!<\/p>\n

Who can join?
\nThe course is aimed at students, researchers, and employees of any background. So, don’t hesitate to register. We assume no prior knowledge of what\u00a0HPC is or how to use it.<\/p>\n

For those who have little experience with\u00a0UNIX-like operating systems\u00a0such as Linux, or who have never worked on the command line of a terminal, NRIS\u00a0offers a\u00a0hands-on pre-course\u00a0about UNIX a day before the HPC course.<\/p>\n

On-boarding is not enough? Don’t worry. Later in May our NRIS experts conduct\u00a0a\u00a0follow up to the NRIS HPC onboarding course.<\/p>\n

The focus will be on different aspects related to the everyday usage of HPC facilities in order to facilitate an valuable and productive framework to develop your research.\u00a0These include best practices and troubleshooting, resource management, software installation, gpu computing with slurm and advanced user support.<\/p>\n

Who can join?
\nOur target groups are students, researchers and employees who want to deepen their knowledge of the usage of HPC facilities.<\/p>\n
