April"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n<p>The local board of the Norwegian Bioscience Society (NBS) will arrange a symposium at the BBB (\u2018vrimleareal\u2019, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> floor) on Wednesday, April 10th from 09.00 to 13.00. The event is meant to be informal and fun. There will be short talks, a \u201creuse your old poster-session&raquo; with pizza sponsored by the Bergen Biomedical Research School.<\/p>\n<p>The symposium will end with a keynote lecture by Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Janelia Research Campus, USA. The tilte of her talk is: \u201c<em>COPII with ALG2 and ESCRTs control lysosome-dependent microautophagy of ER exit sites<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To make the day as fun as possible, we hope that many of you will sign up with your old posters, or just join as a participant. Everyone is welcome to present a poster, students, PhDs and professors alike.
