Photo: UiB.no<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dear Researchers of the Department of Clinical Medicine (K1), Department of Clinical Science (K2), and Helse-Vest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On behalf of the Research School in Clinical Medicine it is our pleasure to invite you&nbsp;to&nbsp;present your work at the 19<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Annual&nbsp;Research&nbsp;Presentations. This is an excellent opportunity to share your research and a chance to win awards ranging from 3,000 NOK to 10,000 NOK.&nbsp; The event will be held at Haukeland University Hospital from the 29<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;to 31<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;of January 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;Who can apply?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PhD candidates, Postdoctoral Researchers and Scientists (including medical students and hospital employees engaged in research) affiliated with K1 or K2 at the University of Bergen and\/or Helse-Vest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Authors of posters or oral presentations presented at national or international conferences in 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The candidate may present both poster and oral presentations given that the candidate has presented both during 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;&nbsp;Registration and Submission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Registration link:&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/skjemaker.app.uib.no\/view.php?id=17860219\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/skjemaker.app.uib.no\/view.php?id=17860219\">Registration for the Annual Research Presentation Conference 29th-31th January 2025<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Due to time constraints and limited poster board availability, only the first 25 submitted oral presentations and 50 posters will be presented.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submission opening: November 01, 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deadline for submission: December 01, 2024<strong>Required documents:<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Poster Presentations:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The original conference poster as a PDF file (with a minimum of 300 DPI).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abstract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A short summary, written in plain Norwegian, for the public (patients and caregivers) to understand the main content of your poster. Limited to 5 sentences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We would appreciate it if those who have already had the poster printed would use these at the event. If not, we will print it for you (size +\/- A0).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Oral Presentations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PowerPoint presentation of the project presented at a conference during the year 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abstract<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<!--more Read more-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Event Days<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>January 29 &#8211; Poster presentations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each poster presenter will give a short presentation of their poster to&nbsp;a scientific committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The time per poster-presentation is five minutes (three minutes for the presentation itself and two minutes for questions from the scientific committee).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>January 30 &#8211; Oral&nbsp;presentations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Presenters will have 10 minutes for their presentation, followed by a five-minute discussion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oral&nbsp;presentations&nbsp;should be presented in the original, previously presented form.
