{"id":21660,"date":"2025-02-17T13:43:02","date_gmt":"2025-02-17T12:43:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/?p=21660"},"modified":"2025-02-17T13:43:04","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T12:43:04","slug":"forhandlingsbrudd-med-wiley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/en\/2025\/02\/17\/forhandlingsbrudd-med-wiley\/","title":{"rendered":"Forhandlingsbrudd med Wiley"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"391\" height=\"129\" src=\"https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2025\/02\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21661\" srcset=\"https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2025\/02\/image-1.png 391w, https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2025\/02\/image-1-300x99.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 391px) 100vw, 391px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Avtalen mellom UiB og&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiley.com\/en-no\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wiley<\/a>&nbsp;gikk ut ved utgangen av 2024, og forhandlingene om ny avtale er n\u00e5 stoppet. <\/strong><br><strong>Konsekvensene for oss er som f\u00f8lger:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Konsekvenser for lesetilgang<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ansatte\/studenter p\u00e5 UiB beholder lesetilgang til de fleste av artiklene utgitt av Wiley til og med 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ansatte\/studenter p\u00e5 UiB vil&nbsp;<strong>ikke f\u00e5&nbsp;<\/strong>lesetilgang til artikler som utgis i l\u00f8pet av 2025 i Wileys tidsskrift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For mer informasjon eller hjelp, kontakt ditt lokale bibliotek (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uib.no\/ub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.uib.no\/ub<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Konsekvenser for \u00e5pen publisering<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Publisering i rent \u00e5pne tidsskrift, tidsskrift med s\u00e5kalt gull \u00e5pen tilgang, blir ikke p\u00e5virket av forhandlingsbruddet med Wiley.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00c5pen publisering i Wileys lukkede tidsskrift vil ikke fungere som f\u00f8r fordi UiB n\u00e5 ikke lenger har publiser- og les-avtale med forlaget. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For \u00e5pen tilgjengeliggj\u00f8ring av artikler publisert hos Wiley med lukket tilgang, kan du benytte deg av UiBs rettighetsordning: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uib.no\/ub\/158627\/rettighetsordning-%C3%A5pen-tilgjengeliggj%C3%B8ring\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rettighetsordning for \u00e5pen tilgjengeliggj\u00f8ring | Universitetsbiblioteket | UiB<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rettighetsordningen inneb\u00e6rer at du som forsker ved UiB er sikret rettigheter til \u00e5 gj\u00f8re dine egne forskningsartikler umiddelbart \u00e5pent tilgjengelige i BORA, UiBs institusjonelle arkiv, uansett om du publiserer i et rent \u00e5pent tidsskrift eller ikke.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2019\/04\/Publishing-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9207\" style=\"width:434px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2019\/04\/Publishing-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2019\/04\/Publishing-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2019\/04\/Publishing-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Breakdown of negotiations with Wiley<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The agreement between UiB and Wiley expired at the end of 2024, and negotiations for a new agreement have now been halted. <\/strong><br><strong>The consequences for us are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Employees and students at UiB will retain reading access to most articles published by Wiley up until and including 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employees and students at UiB will&nbsp;<strong>not have<\/strong>&nbsp;reading access to articles published in Wiley&#8217;s journals during 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information or assistance, please contact your local library (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uib.no\/ub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.uib.no\/ub<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Consequences for open publishing:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Publishing in fully open-access journals, often referred to as &laquo;gold open access,&raquo; is not affected by the breakdown of negotiations with Wiley.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open publishing in Wiley&#8217;s closed-access journals will no longer function as before, since UiB no longer has a publish-and-read agreement with the publisher.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To make articles published with Wiley under closed access openly available, you can use UiB\u2019s rights retention policy: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uib.no\/en\/ub\/158628\/rights-retention-policy-open-access-scholarly-articles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rights retention policy for open access to scholarly articles | University of Bergen Library | UiB<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The rights retention policy ensures that as a researcher at UiB, you are guaranteed the right to immediately make your research articles openly available in BORA, UiB\u2019s institutional archive, regardless of whether you publish in a fully open-access journal or not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Avtalen mellom UiB og&nbsp;Wiley&nbsp;gikk ut ved utgangen av 2024, og forhandlingene om ny avtale er n\u00e5 stoppet.
