Young CAS-programmet har som m\u00e5l \u00e5 st\u00f8tte fremragende yngre forskere ved \u00e5 gi dem muligheten til \u00e5 bygge selvstendige forskningsnettverk og sa<\/strong>mle erfaring som forskningsledere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>S\u00f8knadsfrist 21. mai 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M\u00e5l:<\/strong>&nbsp;St\u00f8tte unge forskere gjennom workshops, forskningsopphold og nettverksmuligheter for unge CAS PI, som vil bidra til \u00e5 realisere prosjektets m\u00e5l og fremme s\u00f8kerens karriere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kriterier:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alder p\u00e5 40 \u00e5r innen s\u00f8knadsfristen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fulltids akademiske stilling ved en av partnerinstitusjonene (fast\/midlertidig) og minst for det f\u00f8rste \u00e5ret av programmet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laboratoriebasert forskning kan ikke utf\u00f8res ved CAS (men laboratoriearbeid, feltarbeid eller datainnsamling er velkomne hvis de har som m\u00e5l \u00e5 utvikle den teoretiske delen av forskningen).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bel\u00f8p:<\/strong>&nbsp;Opptil&nbsp;<strong>NOK 750 000 (24 m\u00e5neders varighet)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mer informasjon om programmet, samt detaljer om hvordan man s\u00f8ker, finner dere i utlysningsteksten:&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cas-nor.no\/application-call-ycg\">https:\/\/cas-nor.no\/application-call-ycg<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ettersom Universitetet i Bergen er blant v\u00e5re partnerinstitusjoner, er dette en spennende mulighet for deres yngre forskere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"571\" height=\"140\" src=\"https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2025\/02\/image-8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21803\" srcset=\"https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2025\/02\/image-8.png 571w, https:\/\/k1nytt.w.uib.no\/files\/2025\/02\/image-8-300x74.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 571px) 100vw, 571px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centre for Advanced Study (CAS) has now announced two \u2018Young CAS Grants\u2019 for the period from January 2026 to December 2027. The Young CAS program aims to support outstanding early-career researchers by providing them with the opportunity to establish independent research networks and gain experience as research leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that the application&nbsp;<strong>deadline is 21 May 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Aim:<\/strong>&nbsp;Supporting young researchers through workshop, research stay and networking opportunities for young CAS PI, which will contribute to realizing the project\u2019s objectives and further the applicant\u2019s career<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>With the following criteria-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The age of 40 by the application deadline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full time academic position at one of the partner institutions (permanent\/temporary) and at least for the first year of the program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laboratory based research cannot be conducted at CAS (but laboratory work, fieldwork or data collection are welcome if they aim to develop the theoretical aspect of the research).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Amount:<\/strong>&nbsp;Up to&nbsp;<strong>NOK 750&nbsp;000 (24 months duration)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More information about the program, as well as details on how to apply, can be found in the call for applications:&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cas-nor.no\/application-call-ycg\">https:\/\/cas-nor.no\/application-call-ycg<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the University of Bergen is one of our partner institutions, this is an exciting opportunity for your early-career researchers.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senter for grunnforskning (CAS) har n\u00e5 lyst ut to \u2018Young CAS Grants\u2019 for perioden januar 2026 til desember 2027.
