The Anders Jahre Medical Prize for outstanding scientific activity or results within Nordic<br>medicine. The prize amounts to NOK 1 000 000 (approximately \u20ac 85 000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">II. The Anders Jahre Medical Prize to young medical investigators within the Nordic<br>countries. The candidate must be below the age of 40 by June 15, 2026. The prize amounts to<br>NOK 400 000 (approximately \u20ac 34 000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>All professors of medicine serving in a Nordic country are invited to nominate potential<br>awardees. <\/em>The nominations must be received before February 1, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In order to be processed each nomination should be accompanied by:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A thorough explanation of why the nominee should be considered for the prize.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A list of publications from the last 5 years (limited to publications with the nominee as<br>corresponding author), as well as a list of up to 20 selected publications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Curriculum vitae for the nominee, including information about year of birth, e-mail<br>address, phone and mobile phone numbers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The submitted material should be in English, in pdf format and is not to exceed 3MB.<br>Previously submitted nominations must be submitted again, in order to be processed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Letters of nominations must be submitted though our online form:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/nettskjema.no\/a\/530239#\/page\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/nettskjema.no\/a\/530239<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Questions can be addressed to the secretary of the prize<br>committee, Ingunn Rode Grorud (i.r.grorud@medisin.uio.no).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The prize is an important recognition and incentive for active scientists.
