Open for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CCBIO is happy to invite you to a seminar on scientific writing and communication, May 19\u201320, 2026. The seminar is open to all (requires registration).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learn how to:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Organize ideas, results, and messages in a scientific paper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve titles and abstracts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present a clear problem statement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use punctuation, grammar, and numbering in a text<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write an informative and convincing cover letter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The course will also present and discuss what good research communication is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even with the introduction of AI, there is&nbsp;something to learn for all of us! We strongly encourage students at all levels, including postdocs, to&nbsp;prioritize this&nbsp;and attend! Senior staff are also very welcome. The seminar is also open to national and Nordic visitors, and is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lecturers<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/christinemoller\/\">Christine M\u00f8ller (external link)<\/a>, an experienced lecturer in medical and scientific writing with many years of experience as assistant editor&nbsp;of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/journal\/10.1111\/(ISSN)1600-0463\">APMIS (external link)<\/a>&nbsp;(Acta&nbsp;Pathologica Microbiologica et Immunologica Scandinavica).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uib.no\/en\/ccbio\/110542\/randolph-watnick\">Randy Watnick<\/a>, assistant&nbsp;professor at the Vascular Biology Program, Harvard Medical School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Media Advisor&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uib.no\/en\/persons\/Marion.Solheim\">Marion Solheim&nbsp;<\/a>will be adding a lecture on science presentation, showing how to make a presentation stick &#8211; in a good way.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Erling A. Hoivik is coordinating the program.
