Research Ethics Day 2026 at UiB addresses these questions through keynotes, panel discussions, and artistic perspectives on the ethical challenges of research dissemination. The event takes place on 2 October in Storsalen, Nyg\u00e5rdsgaten 5.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research in a Complex Public Sphere<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Research dissemination has become an increasingly important part of academic work. Research findings are frequently used in public debate and policy development, while researchers may also encounter misinformation, resistance, and harassment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s Research Ethics Day focuses on the ethical dimensions of communicating research in the public sphere.
