CCBIO901: Junior Scientist Symposium (JUSS) (3 ECTS)

This seminar series offers a great opportunity to connect and engage with fellow young scientists, get peer reviews, and gain experience with oral presentations and academic discussions.

CCBIO906: Cancer Genomics (3 ECTS)

Date: October 21–23

This course will provide a broad understanding of aspects of cancer genome biology and their investigation by next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies. Methods for analyzing DNA variation and structure and RNA expression patterns will be covered, as well as nuclear and chromatin structure. Also, ethical, legal aspects, and hereditary predisposition will be taught.

Place: Birkhaugsalen/room D305, 3rd floor, main building (Sentralblokka).

CCBIONEUR911: Clinical Trials (2 ECTS, and a GCP certificate)

Date: January 14-16, 2026.

The completed program qualifies for a Good Clinical Practice (GCP-R3) certificate and covers several aspects of clinical trials – from design planning to execution – with learning examples from cancer research and neurological research alike.
