Health Innovation Course 2026

How can research be transformed into solutions that benefit patients and society? The Health Innovation Course 2026 offers PhD candidates and other students an introduction to innovation and entrepreneurship, combined with practical experience in developing and presenting healthcare innovation ideas. The course is jointly organized by the CCBIO Research School for Cancer Studies and the Neuro-SysMed Research School in Translational Neuroscience.

From Research to Impact

The course explores how cutting-edge research can be translated into solutions that create value for healthcare and society. Participants will be introduced to key concepts in innovation and entrepreneurship and will work collaboratively to develop and pitch innovation ideas.

A central component of the course is a two-day Design Thinking workshop designed to strengthen innovation capacity within interdisciplinary research teams. Through practical exercises and group work, participants will gain valuable tools for identifying needs, developing solutions, and communicating their ideas effectively.

The course is open to PhD candidates and other students interested in innovation and entrepreneurship in the health sector.
