Erasmus+ Mobility for Students and Staff
Student Affairs manages and coordinates student and staff mobility. Staff members can apply for Erasmus + mobility funds by August 20, and on January 20. Deadline: 20 January 2018

Erasmus+ Global (Link in norwegian). Erasmus + Global mobility allows Norwegian higher education institutions (HEI) to send and receive students and staff to / from partner countries outside the EU / EEA. The application must be submitted by a HEI in Norway. Individuals can not apply directly. Student and/or employees must apply to their home institution. Deadline: 1 February 2018 (12.00)

Utlysning av småforskmidler 2018

Formål
Formålet med ordningen er å avhjelpe mangel på driftsmidler. Midlene skal kunne dekke utgifter til formål som reiser, seminar, kurs, materiell, teknisk/administrativ assistanse og andre driftskostnader. Det er et mål at tildelingen av midlene skal støtte opp om institusjonens egne prioriteringer.

Kriterier
Følgende kriterier gjelder for ordningen:

  1. En forutsetning er at midlene går til gode enkeltforskere/forskningsgrupper som ikke allerede har store driftsmidler.
  2. Størrelsen på de enkelte bevilgningene til søkerne er satt til kr 15.000 – 150.000.
  3. Bevilgningene skal være ettårige og brukes innenfor budsjettåret 2018. Midlene er ikke overførbare til 2019.
  4. Mottakere av støtte må være aktive forskere i vitenskapelig stilling (professorat eller amanuensisstilling) ved K1.

Søknad
Søknaden skal inneholde følgende informasjon:

  1. Kort beskrivelse av formål (max 1 side)
  2. Støttebeløp og enkelt budsjett
  3. CV (max 2 sider)
  4. Publikasjonsliste for siste 5 år

Nordplus Higher Education (Link in Norwegian). Nordplus higher education is the Nordic Council of Ministers education program for support for cooperation in higher education in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The program supports cooperation between educational institutions, such as mobility for students and employees, and project/networking. Deadline: 1 February 2018

Nasjonalforeningen for folkehelsen er en frivillig organisasjon som jobber med demens og hjerte- og karsykdommer ved lokalt arbeid, politisk påvirkning og støtte til forskning.
Gjennom Nasjonalforeningen for folkehelsens demensforskningsprogram er det nå anledning til å søke om driftsmidler på inntil 300 000 NOK. Midlene skal styrke pågående forskning og/eller bidra til forskningsnettverk innen demens. Søknadsfrist: 8. desember 2017 kl. 13. Søknad må sendes inn elektronisk via Nasjonalforeningen for folkehelsens søknadsportal.

INCOBRA call for EU-Brazil Cooperation Networks. The main objective of this call is to foster and strengthen the mutual cooperation of Brazilian and European R&I actors through the support of bilateral networks by providing a grant (€19,500) for the implementation of mutual bilateral visits and workshops. Deadline: 15 December 2017

Novo Nordisk Foundation: the Excellence projects for young researchers doing excellent research projects within the fields of basic, translational and/or clinical endocrinology or metabolism research. The Foundation will award up to four 5-years Projects. Deadline: 30 January 2018

Nasjonalforeningen for folkehelsen: Through the National Association for Public Health’s Dementia Research Program, it is now possible to apply up to 300,000 NOK to strengthen ongoing research and/or contribute to research networks within dementia. Deadline: 8 December 2017

 

 

GLOBVAC Funding is available for Researcher projects within all thematic areas of the GLOBVAC work programme. Research that sheds light on new questions and challenges related to the transition from the Millennium Development Goals to the Sustainable Development Goals is encouraged.

Fellowships and Personal Grants

 

Novo Nordisk Foundation: postdoctoral fellowships within endocrinology/metabolism at international elite research environments.  The fellowship offers an opportunity to carry out a research project where a minimum of 3 years are dedicated to work at a university, hospital or other research institution abroad, followed by up to 1 year at a university, hospital or other research institution in a Nordic country.

The German-Norwegian Study Centre in Kiel (DNSZ) provides funds within the framework of its Seed Money Budget, in order to support cooperation between German and Norwegian academics in all fields. The present call for proposals applies to projects that are to be realised in the period August 2017 until March 2018. Deadline: 8 December 2017

Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education 2018

The Research Fund for Asthma and Allergy aims to promote research in the asthma and allergy sectors. In 2017, the fund will award NOK 500,000 to research projects and pilot projects. Utlysning av Norgesuniversitetets prosjektmidler 2018-2019.
UiB inviterer forskermiljø som er interessert i å søke prosjektmidler til søknadsseminar onsdag 30. august 2017 fra kl. 09.00 – 10.30. Vi minner om at frist for å sende inn søknad til Norgesuniversitetet er 20. oktober 2017. Rektor/universitetsdirektør er formell søker for prosjektmidlene, og skal i et følgeskriv kommentere hvert prosjekt med tanke på strategisk relevans i UiB sitt arbeid med digitalisering av utdanningene. Det er derfor satt en intern frist for innlevering av søknad 10. oktober 2017. UiB trenger å ha kjennskap til alle miljø som ønsker å søke om prosjektmidler, uavhengig av om de har mulighet til å møte på søkerseminaret 30.august. Fagmiljø som vurderer å søke støtte blir bedt om å ta kontakt med Bjørg Hildeskår, Bjorg.hildeskar@uib.no.
