The Norwegian Cancer Society’s Rosa sløyfe call 2019 is now active. The funds made available through this call come from the Rosa sløyfe campaign (Pink Ribbon), held in October each year. In Norway, the Norwegian Cancer Society and the Norwegian Breast Cancer Society organize the campaign, and select an information topic for each year. In 2018, the topic was Late effects of breast cancer treatment.
In this call, we aim to support Norwegian research environments who can make a significant contribution to improving symptom relief, reduce side effects and late effects of breast cancer treatments and increase quality of life.
We particularly welcome proposals within the following areas:
• Health services research aimed at improving the quality of life for patients dealing with late effects of breast cancer treatment
• Studies investigating the challenges of working life after breast cancer
• Studies investigating the challenges of sexuality after breast cancer
The application deadline of Thursday April 25th at 13.00 (1pm) 2019 is absolute. The Norwegian Cancer Society will only accept applications submitted through the application portal. Proposal and attachments must be written in English.
