Dear all uses of the animal facility,
From January 1st, we will start using BookitLab!, a common booking system for research infrastructure. Here you can make reservations of “operation rooms/laboratories”, order services and request prescriptions.
For now, ordering of animals and requesting housing and care will continue as before. However, monthly invoicing will be via BookitLab. Hence, all users must be affiliated with a project. It is the project financial consultants in cooperation with the project owner who establish projects in Bookitlab and enroll users to projects. You log on to Bookitlab with your Feide user. Please also see the user manual.
We realize that this may cause some temporary problems during startup, but we truly believe that this system will make booking services from us easier. Hopefully, we will all save time.
The animal facility intents to include more services during next year, such as hematology using our brand-new hematology analyzer. Please also note that our staff can help with far more services than feeding and housing your animals. We can help you with several different tasks, including injections, oral gavaging, glucose and insulin tolerance testing, surgery and dissections when experiments are terminated. You may book one of us for an hour or for day.
