I 2025 er det 200 år siden Bergens museum, i dag Universitetsmuseet, ble stiftet. Bergens museum er forløperen til Universitetet i Bergen.
25. april er du som ansatt invitert til en egen feiring på Muséplassen og i Muséhagen. Det blir tale ved statsminister Jonas Gahr Støre, musikalske innslag, kaffe og kake.
Du er også invitert til den nye jubileumsutstillingen i Universitetsmuseet. Gjennom gjenstander, spørsmål og kunnskap gir utstillingen innsikt i museets historie og viser hvordan museet, universitetet og samfunnet gjensidig påvirker og former hverandre.
Program
- 10.00-11.30: Jubileumsutstilling i Universitetsmuseet
- 12.00-12.30: Høytidelig markering på Muséplassen
- 12.30-14.00: Kaffe og kake i Muséhagen

Welcome to anniversary party!
We are celebrating the 200th anniversary of the University Museum and invite you to join the festivities.
In 2025, it will be 200 years since the founding of the Bergen Museum, now known as the University Museum. The Bergen Museum is the predecessor of the University of Bergen.
On 25 April, you, as an employee, are invited to a special celebration at Muséplassen and in the Museum Garden. There will be a speech by Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, music, coffee and cake.
You are also invited to the new anniversary exhibition at the University Museum. Through artefacts, questions, and knowledge, the exhibition provides insight into the museum’s history and demonstrates how the museum, the university, and society mutually influence and shape each other.

- 10:30-11:30: Anniversary Exhibition at the University Museum
- 12:00-12:30: Official celebration at Muséplassen
- 12:30-14:00: Coffee and cake in the Museum Garden
