En av de største internasjonale konferansene om undervising og læring i høyere utdanning kommer til Bergen 24-27 oktober 2018!
Dette er den årlige konferansen til «The International Society for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning» ISSOTL, og den samler ca. 500 undervisere og forskere fra hele verden. “Scholarship in Teaching and Learning” handler om å ha en vitenskaplig tilnærming til ‘hva som virker’ i undervsining og læring, og temaet for årets konferanse er “Toward a learning culture” det er altså de kollegiale og kulturelle aspektene ved læring og utdanning som vil stå i sentrum. Dette er noe som vil interessere mange på UiB og i Norge nettopp nå, i Kvalitetsmeldingens tid!
Her er det store muligheter for UiB-ansatte å delta – bli inspirert, dele erfaringer, møte andre undervisere eller forskere, fremme alt det fantastiske vi gjør i Bergen ovenfor verden … i det hele tatt! Du kan bidra med presentasjon eller poster, og delta i panel, workshop eller bare være deltager. Frist for å levere inn abstract er 1. april.

One of the largest international conferences on teaching and learning in higher education comes to Bergen from 24 to 27 October 2018!
This is the annual conference of «The International Society for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning» ISSOTL, and it collects approximately 500 teachers and researchers from around the world. «Scholarship in Teaching and Learning» is about having a scientific approach to ‘what works’ in teaching and learning, and the theme of this year’s conference is Toward a learning culture. It is thus the collegial and cultural aspects of learning and education that will be in the center. This is something that will interest many at UiB and in Norway just now, in the era of Kvalitetsmeldingen!
Here are great opportunities for UiB employees to participate – be inspired, share experiences, meet other teachers or researchers, promote all the wonderful stuff we do in Bergen to the world … you name it! You can contribute with a presentation or poster, and participate in the panel, workshop, or just be a participant. Deadline for submitting abstracts is 1 April.
