The Bergen Research School of inflammation has a number of courses available this semester for students whose interests include inflammation and immunology. This is a great chance to get to know other students studying immunology at UiB in addition to gaining a strong foundation in the subject.
Basic Immunology (HUIMM320)
The main objective of the course is to provide the students with a sound introduction to modern, basic human immunology.
The field of immunology will be scrutinized by addressing both the normal functionality of the immune system, and immuno-related diseases. The students will learn about methodology and techniques utilized in immunologic research.
ECTS credits: 5
Course Start Date: August 18th
Duration: 2 weeks, Monday- Friday 10 to 12.
Who: PhD and master students

Project Seminars in Immunology (HUIMM901)
This seminar series aims to provide a comprehensive overview and in-depth insights into a diverse range of immunology projects within the medical faculty and clinical sciences. Each student will present their own work (or project details) once per semester. The program aims to provide feedback on participants’ projects, enhance participants’ ability to analyze and reflect critically on scientific presentations, and improve presentation skills.
