Dear colleagues,
The local board of the Norwegian Bioscience Society (NBS) will arrange a symposium at the BBB (‘vrimleareal’, 3rd floor) on Wednesday, April 10th from 09.00 to 13.00. The event is meant to be informal and fun. There will be short talks, a “reuse your old poster-session» with pizza sponsored by the Bergen Biomedical Research School.
The symposium will end with a keynote lecture by Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Janelia Research Campus, USA. The tilte of her talk is: “COPII with ALG2 and ESCRTs control lysosome-dependent microautophagy of ER exit sites”
To make the day as fun as possible, we hope that many of you will sign up with your old posters, or just join as a participant. Everyone is welcome to present a poster, students, PhDs and professors alike. There might even be a prize!
